When we took on The Black Horse 3 years ago, we watched very carefully how you reacted to little changes here and there and very quickly had a clear vision of how the pub should evolve in order to become the hugely popular pub it is now.

We’ll never stop making improvements, however, it would be fair to say that right now, The Black Horse is the best it has ever been, and this is mostly due to you – our lovely customers who keep coming back time after time after time, safe in the knowledge that you will receive a warm, friendly welcome from well mannered staff, who know your faces, and remember your names.

We’d like to think we provide you with everything you could want of a country pub; friendly staff, excellent chefs who produce everything from pub classics to a six course fine dining menu; roaring log fires in the winter and attractive garden terraces in the summer. We also pride ourselves on the excellent condition of our award winning real ales and sensibly priced wines.

Oh – and by the way, we have one of the most breathtaking views in The Cotswolds!

We are all very proud of The Black Horse, but we know we have to keep working really hard to keep the standards high for you. So with that in mind, we hope to see you very soon – and if you haven’t visited us yet, please do make the effort. We are slightly tucked away at the edge of the village, but when you do find us, we are certain you will make The Black Horse your very own local pub – wherever you live!
